It has been known that people with mitochondrial disease are sensitive to many different
stressors, one being fever, for several decades now.
Many people with mitochondrial disease have baseline temperatures that are below
normal (by as much as 2-5 degrees Fahrenheit), and even lower baseline measurements- Aug 24, 2011
