Extreme Home Clinic Makeover
ABC's Extreme Home Makeover honors MitoAction volunteer, & supports Mito clinic renovation
We need your help!
With a little help and the promise of a lot of publicity from Boston's local ABC affiliate, MitoAction is giving the clinic at Tufts Medical Center a facelift. Dr. Mark Korson's clinic serves patients with mitochondrial disease from all over the U.S., and could use a little help to become more patient-friendly, updated and comfortable. We think this is a great opportunity to raise Mito awareness, AND help patients for years to come!
The renovation kicked off yesterday and takes place over the next three weeks. Included in the makeover will be artwork and memorabilia donated by the Boston Bruins Foundation and the Celtics Shamrock Foundation, a flat-screen TV and movie library for the waiting area donated by WCVB, and a patient resource center donated by MitoAction.
With your help, we can make this project have a much bigger impact than just visual appeal. Please, help us reach out to family and friends, co-workers, and neighbors to please help us with the clinic "wish list"!
