MitoAction was excited to welcome Arthur Margolis, R.Ph. from America's Compouding Center Rx to our recent general meeting on Friday September 7.  As part of our member task force to help demystify CoQ10, Arthur spoke about this supplement which helps many mitochondrial disease patients with energy and symptom managment.

Trainings for new volunteers 

In April of 2007, MitoAction and Marcels Way launched a joint toll-free support program for mitochondrial disease patients, parents, spouses, and caregivers.  The purpose of the telephone based support project is to offer a live connection with another person who can relate to the challenges that exist with mitochondrial disease.
 
As the program grows, more volunteers are needed!  Join a volunteer training via toll-free conference call - RSVP to director@mitoaction.org and join us!
