Just wanted to re-mention about the "Mito sick formula" during the flu season. It works for many people, including those without Mito.

Janice, Where did you

Janice, Where did you originally post the sick formula? I read it ,but did not print it. Could you tell me where you wrote it please. Thanks, Beth

Please do not get vaccines

Submitted by Pn02181 on Sat, 04/03/2010 - 9:18am.

Please do not get vaccines if you already have mito dysfunction. My son got the H1N1 intranasal vaccine at nine years old and he suddenly developed dizziness, low heart rate, and jerking that the emergency physician denied was related to this vaccine. The symptoms progressed and now my son is needing a wheel chair when tired and has been diagnosed with dysautonomia, a disease in the same family as Guillain Barre. My son's dysautonomia shows all the signs and symptoms of mitochondrial dysfunction: fatigue, exercise intolerance, weather changes affecting symptom severity. Do not trust the government next time they say a vaccine is safe. I will never trust the government again.

I am sorry that you and your

I am sorry that you and your son has been affected so badly by this vaccine and it really shouldn't of happened. My son is 3 yrs old and diagnosed with Pearson's syndrome a mito disease. At the time when the swine flu was pandemic in our area I had no choice but to give him the H1N1 vaccine. Very close family members were badly affected by this flu and we had to make the decision of the risks of him getting this or the risks of him having the vaccine. For any parent with a poorly child it is the hardest decision you could make. With hindsight we are so glad we did as apart from a very sore arm for two weeks he remained healthy as everyone else was getting ill. My son was born a 9lb baby and extremely healthy until 18mnths old. Why I think his mito reared it's ugly head is that he had his first MMR and two weeks later he was very poorly. No doctor will say it is the vaccine but as a parent I know it didn't cause the mito but it did give it a good kick start. So I know how you are feeling but at some point for my son the mito would have shown at some point in the future.
