Isolation

I feel very isolated with this disease.  I have no non-mito family or friends that rally around me to support me with this disease nor help me in my efforts to change things, such as helping to organize fundraisers or even participate in them.  I feel as if I go through this journey alone.  There is no support from people who are not affected with this disease, despite the fact that they saw my daughter die less than 6 months ago.

I am so sorry you are left

I am so sorry you are left feeling so isolated, It is often the fact that people who dont walk in our shoes find it hard to be there, they have little understanding of our pain frustration and fear. I hope you can find the courage to offload your thoughts here where people do care and understand. It does not help the lack of practical assistance and support but often just writing out your rambling thoughts knowing they will nbe read by people who care can help! Much love
