Print Still trying to educate myself for my Superman....his lactate level is high, so is that the thinger that zaps energy from being produced? And if the lactate level can be reduced with supplements, will that help him to feel better as well? Muscle biopsy is Sept 17th!! We are scared and hopeful at the same time. If one more doc says there is nothing wrong...ugg...we will scream! But we need to get this tumor out of his brain first, does anyone know of a great MITO doc in the Philadelphia area? Columbia U doc seems great, but the fatigue of him getting up there took a toll the first time, so if I can make it easier on him by finding a doc closer to home, that would be great! And, is it appropriate to ask for a second opnion biopsy, if nothing shows on the first? Many Thanks and Blessings...Superman's Girl..... __________________

Yes, we have heard that too...he's the number one doc up there for this. It's just hard to make that trip cause he is worn down already and due to being in a bad accident many years ago, I can't get past my fear of trying to drive him up there, cause it's like a race track. But I hope once the muscle biopsy is done and a formal diagnosis is made, our primary will be able to handle most of his care from there.....Thanks for well wishes...Blessings....Superman's Girl
