My Favorite Things

Print While I still like "raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens" I have found a new list of favorite things. I know this post has the danger of being a repeat of the hobbies post, but I thought I would try anyway! i-pod- This is helpful for putting audio books onto as well as for listening to music. I have come to appreciate the latter a lot. It is really nice to be able to take a nap during the day and listen to piano music rather than people saying things along the lines of "is she actually asleep?" water! - I have been amazed how much drinking water all the time has helped my energy level. Now I bring water with me everywhere. I hope the pastor doesn't mind me chugging water during the sermon! silk long johns- These make me very happy! They are really thin, but keep my legs warm. This in turn causes my legs to hurt less and I get less tired. weekly pill sorter thingies- Obviously I don't know what these are called. I have three, but my favorite is for my noontime medicine. It is a column with seven sements. If I'm out and about at lunchtime I can just take that day's sement. I used to use the same thing to hold beads. It is very nice to only have to think about doses and bottles once a week when I fill the sorters. my borrowed wheelchair- I almost didn't add this one as I get annoyed that I my legs don't work properly. I don't use the wheelchair in my home as I can still walk short distances. However, the chair enables me to do more than I could otherwise. For a bit I quit going anywhere at all because I would be able to get somewhere, but then my legs would not work and I couldn't leave. Not nice. With the wheelchair I can now go shopping, to church, etc. Okay, that's all for now. What are some of your favorite things? I'm hoping to get some ideas for myself! __________________
