Non coverage of Cyto Q

Print Oh boy, Now our insurance will not cover Cyto Q after covering it for the last year as a non-formulary. So we did pay a pretty penny, but not nearly the whole cost. It was covered as recently as 2 months ago for my son's prescription and I just submitted a script for myself and am told it had been dropped to no coverage status. We will try prior authorization first, but if that doesn't work, I just don't know. Does anyone know who I would go to next? The HR of the company making the decision? It is very angering to me to have to constantly fight for everthing and with everyone. I have been fighting for 9 years now, since my daughter was born, who is now gone, but the battle will continue for myself and son. I already run on low energy as it is and we did heavy duty medical care by ourselves for the last 2 years with our daughter, so I am really tired. I would almost like to hire someone to do this kind of work for me. I need a break. Just when I think I have something smoothed out in becomes unsmoothed. Just venting, this is nothing new for us. |

Tina Mum of 5 children Eve has just been given a suspected diagnosis of Mitochondrial Cytopathy.
I do not know what the future holds but I am glad I know who holds the future!
