Sounds great!...but how do we get it! 2010 seems so far away.(sometimes, days feel like weeks)ha - Why is it that all Melas patients are not included to be in the 2nd trial if it worked in the first one? You would think the more statistics they have, the better.( It's not like there is a million of us out there.)Is there any way we can speed up the process, or plead with politicians??? They have made great Progress with Mito, and that is a blessing!An even bigger blessing, would be to actually get to take it.We'll just keep praying for that day...(Also a cure for all mito disorders)It breaks my heart to see these young children with Mito!

I cannot tell from reading this article wether they already have done studies here(US) or are going to and if when. How do I find more information?

FYI I called the Sirtris company to inquire about the Resveratrol study and it evidently is not going on anymore and the man named at the bottom of the website is no longer with the company.

Hi arktjk, Do you know why, they are no longer doing studies, on Resveratrol? I was told that it could possibly excel cancers.??? They do sell it up here on the shelf at G.N.C.

Janice, I do not know why. The woman I spoke with who answered the phone would not give me any information except that the study wasn't going on and the man on the name of the research study does not work there anymore. It would be good to know if it was stopped because of side effects, as I am taking it and do not want to cause further damage or ill effects, but have not read anything negative thus far. Beth

I'd like to ask the info from the man who quit! I haven't read anything negative, but will keep researching. It makes you wonder?
