Well if I needed to join the Mito Club I am glad I found this Mito Club!

Today we had it confirmed Eve's Muscle Biopsy was positive for mitochondrial Nyopathy.

More tests taken today, some still to come back and referals to other specialists.

I read this post and am very relieved for you that now you have some answers. Knowing what is going on with my body has helped me stay more stable and feel better. I hope that Eve's health journey will be a little easier now that you know better what is going on with her body. That being said I also started crying as I read your words. God is good, but sometimes there is no getting around that life can be hard. Here's a hug!

She is right once you find

She is right once you find out what's going on with your body, it makes life bearable, It took me years, to find out, but once I did I knew what my enemy was, and I felt I could face it and conquer it! I would refuse any thing for pain, until they figured it out. I was afraid if I masked the pain I wouldn't find out what was going on. I was diagnosed in June of 2005. They are helping my pain, but I still don't sleep, and pain is still awful. HUGS, are definitely good medicine. My favorite word is hope... We must always have Hope!....Good Luck....God Bless..Lori:)
