All trainings are held via toll-free conference call, 1-866-414-2828, participant code 017921.

As a volunteer, you will be asked to do the following:

• You are responsible for fielding calls for one full month for which you are assigned.
• You are required to complete a brief training by telephone with one of our project coordinators before answering calls.
• You are responsible to complete an evaluation at the end of the month, to be turned in with a call log.

As a volunteer, you will provide:

• An opportunity for the caller to talk about their situation
• Your personal experience
• Emotional support
• Any possible resources
• Explanations of programs, ideas or vocabulary
