About the Speaker
Tobi Schaap received her B.S. in Biology in 1994 from Linfield College (McMinnville, OR) and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2001 from Belmont University (Nashville, TN). She is Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and currently works as the Clinical Supervisor at Spaulding Outpatient Clinic-Malden, outside of Boston. Over the past 20 years as a Physical Therapist, Tobi has been involved in treating a variety of patients focusing primarily on adult and adolescent orthopedics. Her experiences also include unique opportunities in early intervention pediatrics, as well as working 7 years as a civilian physical therapist for the US Army in Ft. Stewart, GA. More recently her clinical interests include specialties of Pelvic Health, Advanced OB-Pregnancy and Postpartum Care, Women’s Healthcare, and Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation.
