What better way to kick-off Move for Mito Week than by learning how to make an authentic Italian meal!

Join local North Andover Mom and long time supporter of the Matthew Harty Mito Classic, Laura DiBlasi to learn how to make an authentic Italian meal from scratch! The suggested donation to join the demo is $20.00.

The menu and needed ingredients are:

Menu is for family of 4-5 ( adjust if needed!)

Caprese Salad

2 BIG ripe red beefsteak tomato’s
3 traditional domestic mozzarella balls
salt and olive oil

Spaghetti Carbonara

1 pound of spaghetti
1/2 cup of pancetta or classic bacon
*best to buy chunk of pancetta so we can dice it
2 eggs
1 small garlic clove
salt and olive oil
pepper flakes and parmesan cheese if desired

Chicken Marsala

4-5 chicken cutlet slices
flour to dredge
1/4 cup of olive oil for cooking
1 cup of fresh mushrooms chopped
1/2 cup marsala wine
salt to taste

Recommended Wine Pairing

Pino Grigio!
