Medical Child Abuse and Mito: Safeguarding your Family

A child who has a diagnosis of mitochondrial disease has a significantly higher risk of being removed from the home by Child Protective Services (CPS). Attorney Beth Maloney will educate and inform families about the heightened risks, and offer parents a roadmap to help them navigate through the medical landscape. Every parent of a child with mitochondrial disease needs this information.
