My daughter Juliet was born with mito and started showing signs of it at just a few days old. She is 15 now, and although she cannot walk, talk or eat, she has taught me more about life than anyone ever has. Juliet is the picture of all that is good in the world. She suffers almost daily, but her spirit is so pure and her love so endless. I am honored to be Juliet’s mom. She makes me want to be a better person.
